Cricket is the world’s most popular sport after football.  Women’s cricket has not yet gained so much fame as compared to male cricket.

But in women’s cricket we get to see some such records which we have hardly seen in male cricket.

The first in cricket a female cricketer who scored a double century in international cricket.  Former Australian women’s cricket captain Belinda Clarke first scored a double century in cricket.

He scored 229 not out against Denmark in 1997.  After 13 years, the record of first double century in men’s cricket is in the name of India’s great batsman Sachin Tendulkar.

Sachin Tendulkar scored an unbeaten 200 against South Africa in 2010.

One such records Ugandan women’s cricket team has made it to international t-20 cricket.  They set a new record in t20 international cricket by scoring 314 runs in the scheduled 20 overs.

It is considered the highest team in score international t20 cricket.

Uganda women Cricket score 314 in 20 overs game against MALI WOMEN CRICKET TEAM in fifth match of five match series between Uganda and Mali Rwanda on 20 June 2019.

Mali’s team came under so much pressure after chasing a 314-run mountain like goal that the entire team was all out on the score of 10 runs.

Thus the Ugandan women’s cricket team won the match by 304 runs and it is considered the biggest win in t20 cricket.

Women’s cricket also leads in ODI international cricket –
New zealand’s women’s cricket team set a record for highest score in one-day cricket by scoring 490 runs in 50 overs.
