1.KAPIL DEV 175* RUNS in 83′ WC

Kapil dev 175 not out come first in world cup cricket. This innings come from Haryana hurricane Kapil Dev in 1983 cricket world cup when Indian team was in trouble in match against Zimbabwe.

Batting first Indian batting line reduced to 17 for loss five wickets. Kapil Dev’s 175* (138) Knock with six sixes helped India to reach 266 total in 60 overs.
This is one of the memoriable in world cup cricket history. With this innings Kapil Dev became first Indian to hrit century in ODI cricket.

2 Andrew Symonds 147 RUNS in 2003 WC

Defending champion Australia opened their mission in 2003 world cup against Pakistan. Australia’s was not good as they lost their top batsman Hayden, Gilchrist, Martyn and Jimmy Nagar at team score 86.
With Andrew Symonds Ricky PONTING try to stable innings but PONTING also left ground at team score 146 with his individual score of 53 runs.
After half team left to pavilion Symonds took whole responsibilities on his shoulder and helped team to reach score of 330 for 8 in 50 overs

Andrew Symonds made 147 not out in 125 deliveries with 18 fours and two sixes.

3. KAVIN O’BRIEN 113 (63) RUNS IN 2011 WC

This is just second world cup for Ireland. They were playing with arch-rival England in 15 th match of 2011 world cup.
England set target of 328 for Ireland in 50 overs. Ireland team was in great pressure as they lost their 5 wickets at the score of 111 runs.
KAVIN O’BRIEN came at no 6 was in different mood his 113 runs knock in 63 deliveries helped Ireland to chase difficult target of 328 runs

KAVIN finished INNINGS at 329 for 7 and four delivery left. With this win Ireland earned the highestWorld Cup run-chase.

4. Mahendra Singh dhoni’s 91* and Gautam gambhir 97 runs in 2011 WC

Chasing target is difficult task in cricket. Such target in world cup cricket final is extra pressure on team chasing team
In 2011 world cup final team was under pressure as they lost their in form batsman Sachin tendulkar and VIRENDER SEHWAG early at team score of 23 runs.
Gautam gambhir and virat  kohali tried to escape India from this early wicket lost pressure.

Unbeaten Sri Lanka took Australia final in 1996 WC at Lahore in Pakistan. By batting first Australia set target of 242 runs for Sri Lanka in 50 overs.
Early lost of in form explosive sanath jaysuriya and kaluviterna at  23 runs Sri Lanka came under pressure.

Then Arvind desilva came at No 4 and joined the with asanka gurusinghe. Both maked progress in run chase but at 148  team score gurusinghe clean  bowled by Paul riffel at individual score 65 runs.
With the helped Arjuna rantunga Arvind desilva finished the game and helped the team to lift his maiden title.

Arvind desilva awarded man of the match for his all rounder performance with 107 * runs and 3 wickets
