Whenever we plan for holiday to hill station for summer in India we used to think for Shimla, MANALI, ooty ,kullu etc we end up here.
But there are many Hil station till unexplored in India.
This is list of hill station where you can visit.

1. Landsdowne, Uttarakhand

Located 1700 MTs above sea level Landsdowne town is peaceful place to visit.
Located in the Pauri-Garhwal District of thr Garhwal region, this beautiful town untouched by noise, pollution and tourists mob as it is managed by local army contonment board.. it offers breathtaking view of Himalayan peak Chaukhamba on a clear day. The places to see in and around Landsdowne include Bhullatal Kale, Kaleshwar Mahadev Tenple, Garhwal Rifles Museum, Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Snow View Point, Tip-in Top, St. Mary’s Church and Santoshi Mata Temple.

CHIKHALDARA known for mythological story of BHIM from mahbharat who killed devil kichak and thrown his body in one of valley at CHIKHALDARA. Formerly it known as kichakdara after it renamed as CHIKHALDARA.
CHIKHALDARA rich in biodiversity.  It has a plethora of waterfalls and lakes surrounded by lush greens all around. It is home to many wild animals like tigers, panthers, sloth bears, sambars, wild boars and wild dogs. The places to explore here are Hurricane Point, Prospect Point, Devi Point, Gavilgad and Narnala Fort, The Tribal Museum, Semadoh Lake and Pandit Nehru Botanical Gardens.
CHIKHALDARA located in Amravati district of Maharashtra. There are no direct connection by rail and air . You take bus or taxi from Amravati.

3. Mirik, West Bengal
This hill station is located in Darjeeling and in close proximity to many sight seeing spots like Bokar Monastery, Kawley Dara, Rameetay Dara, Tingling Viewing Gallery, Orange orchards and Devi Sthan.

4. Chopta, Uttarakhand

Chopta also known as mini Switzerland or Switzerland of India beacuse one can seem like Switzerland here. The whole area is surrounded by forests of pine, deodar and rhododendron. Chopta forms a part of Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary with its meadows and lush forests. One can see snow clad peaks of Trishul, Nanda Devi and Chaukhamba in the Himalayan range from this unspoiled beauty. Chopta is home to some rare species of birds and musk deer.

5. Kausani, Uttarakhand

Kausani offers you beautiful scene of Himalayan mountains range in every nook and corners. Places to visit in and around –
  Gandhi Ashram, Baijnath Temple, Shawl Factory and Girihas Tea Factory.

6. Yelagiri, Tamil Nadu

Yelagiri hill station is 150 km away from Bangalore and 920 mts above sea level.
Yelagiri comprises of 14 small villages which are inhabited by tribals engaged in horticulture, agriculiture and forestry
Place to visit –
Doc Bosco Centre, go trekking at Swami Malai, Jalagamparai Waterfalls and Uphill, indulge in boating at Punganur Lake, visit the Vainu Bappu Solar Observatory and walk through the Kodai Vizha Ground soaking in the beauty of nature.

7. Dhanaulti, Uttarakhand
Dhanaulti got popularity beacuse close proximity to Masoorie. Dhanaulti offers serenity and fresh clean air along with trekking opportunities.

8. Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh

Tirthan Valley situated in the Kullu District of Himachal Pradesh. Tirthan Valley can change your mood from your hectic and busy schedule to got relaxed your mind and soul.

9. Ponmudi, Kerala
Ponmudi 62 km away from trivendram innorth east direction.  The town is heaven for trekkers and hikers. While here, do not forget to visit the Freshwater srpings of Kallar, Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary, Lion and Deer Park, Golden Valley, Agasthiya Biological Park and Meenmutti Falls which lie close to this hill station.

10.  Shimoga, Karnataka

Shimoga is paradise for photography as it is home for  various waterfalls, trekking passes, mountains, wild animals, snakes and butterflies and viewpoints.
Sight seeing spots are Jog Falls, Ikkeri Temple, Varadahalli, Ganjur Dam, Thirthalli, Agumbe (Cherapunji of Karnataka), Linganamakki Dam, Kodachadri mountain, Shivappanayaka’s Fort, Sharavathi Wild Life Sancturary and Mandagadde Bird Sanctuary.

11. Pelling, Sikkim

Pelling  giving you spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga and surrounding mountain ranges. The town maintains its charm and serenity despite being loaded with tourist attractions such as Khecheopari Lake, Changey Waterfall, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rimbi Waterfalls, Sewaro Rock Garden and many more. There are various places here where you can indulge in activities like fishing (Rimbi), hot stone bath, milking a cow, meditate at meditation centres and jungle walking.

12.  IDUKKI Kerala
IDUKKI situated in Western ghat of Kerala.  IDUKKIif the second largest district of Kerala, but has the lowest population density because more than half of its cover by forest.
Places to visit in Idukki are Thrissanku Hills, Meesapulimala, Urumbikkara, Kalvari Mount, Idukki Dam and Anayirankal Dam reservoir.

13. Yercaud, Tamil Nadu
     Mejors tourist attractions at yercaud are Botanical Garden, Shevaroy Temple, Big Lake, Killiyur Falls, Pagoda Point and Bear’s cave. Yercaud is a hill station in Tamil Nadu with the magnificent highest point there being the Servarayan Temple at 5,326 feet.

14. Coonoor, Kerala
      Coonoor is the second largest hill station after ooty in nilgiri hills
Place to visit – . Sim’s Park which is a Botanical Garden housing various types of flora, Lamb Rocks, Dolphin’s Nose, St. Catherine Falls and Law’s falls. 

15. Haflong, Assam
The only hill station in Assam. Haflong is land of lush greens hills and magnificent waterfalls.  Mejors attractions at haflong is Haflong hill and Haflong lake, which can leave you spellbound with their natural beauty.

16. Coorg, Karnataka
Coorg is also known as Scotland of India. Located near 100 km away from Mysore. Coorg is famous tourist destination for honeymoon couple.
