Sri Lankan fast bowler LASITH MALINGA bagged four wickets in four ball in a row.

This incident was in super eight clash between Sri Lanka and South Africa in 2007 cricket world cup.

Sri Lanka set target of 210 for South Africa.

South Africa was in comfortable position 206/5 in 44 over.

Drama started from 45th over. There was different plan in MALINGA’s mind.

He took 4 wickets a row. He bowled out Shaun Pollock on 5th delivery of 45 over and in very next ball he caught out Andrew hall in last ball.

When he came back in 47th over Jacques kallis caught out behind stump on first delivery and MALINGA completed his hatrick. In second delivery of 47th over he bowled makhaya ntini by his favourite Yorker and MALINGA became first bowler who took four wickets in row in odi cricket.
